The Soviets and Germans pulled back from the bloody ridges of the Kalmu at virtually the same time, leaving the vital hill in no-man's land. Realizing the opportunity for seizing the unoccupied position, the Soviets and Germans raced to capture its crest and secure the sector.
Objectives: Your company, supported by two platoons of panzerjager, will blunt the enemy attack and take the Kalmu. Your platoon forms the right flank of the company battleline, and will support the main thrust north along the road, west of your position. Estimates of enemy strength in this sector are not totally reliable, but expect at least battalion strength opposition.
